At just under 40 miles, the East Devon Way can be walked in two to six days. Some more ambitious walkers have been known to complete it in a day!
Eat, drink, sleep
Take a look at our Eat, Drink, Sleep map
for details of places to stay, cafes, restaurants and more, on the route (or within easy reach of it).
Public transport can be limited, especially in the more remote places, but it is possible to visit using bus
services with careful planning (and perhaps a little help from your accommodation providers).
Some accommodation providers offer a luggage transfer service for a small fee, delivering your luggage to the next stopover, or you can contact Luggage Transfers
Please always follow the route waymarks if there is a conflict between the guidebook and what's on the ground (due to post print changes/diversions etc).
